He won us over immediately with how he was sitting at the front of his kennel and gazing up at us. Just the calmest, happiest boy. So thrilled to just be included! He did amazing on his temp test with another dog, soaked up attention from as many people who would give it to him, and then somewhat tolerated posing for pictures for me - he got really hot in the run and was trying to find shade towards the end. We also did a photoshoot inside in the AC and he was trying his best to be as helpful as possible as I folded up a bandana and put it on him🤣 An absolute velcro doggy who just wants to be your best friend! He's got the cutest little noggin that is crooked🥹 It makes him extra adorable but it also makes me sad thinking about how he might have ended up that way... Despite whatever he might have been through previously he is just the sweetest thing and will give you endless amounts of love and cuddles! It breaks my heart that this boy is HW+ because he's such an angel, and he really deserves to make it out. He's rescue only due to suspected muscle atrophy, but if you are interested in adopting please reach out to us or the shelter immediately! Otherwise he NEEDS a long-term foster through heartworm treatment and a rescue to save his life.
