Treat motivated. 🚑𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: - BCS 2.5/9 with all ribs easily visible and dorsal spiney processes are palpable - moderately long nails - moderate worth teeth and moderate tartar - heavy amount of adult fleas throughout coat. The movement of the flea infestation is causing the hairs to move as well when visually examining the dog. There is heavy amount of flea dirt throughout the coat as well. There is red bronzing discoloration of the hair coat of the dorsal rear. The skin underneath is also moderately red - the single red area on the back is the dog's coat pigment color and not a lesion. - bilateral mild elbow callous A: heavy flea infestation and flea dermatitis P: advantage was applied upon intake. oral antibiotics to treat dermatitis cephalexin 500mg BID x 10 days 🚨Notes from BARC: Space/Medical (Geriatric and being treated for heavy flea dermatitis)
