Cash absolutely broke my heart, this world has clearly not been kind to him. He?s so malnourished but he was still happy go lucky. He?s waited patiently in his kennel for me to leash him and then walked nicely on the leash outside. In the run he mostly went from fence line to fence line trying to convince the volunteers to give him all his treats, he would sit very nicely for them, and then come back over to me for additional treats. This guy has the cards stacked against him senior, black pittie, and unknown medical costs but I hope he makes it out with a soft place to land.
📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: I can see the dogs back bones?. Very skinny. Friendly. walks well on the leash.
🚑𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: Assessment - Very poor body condition with signifcant loss of muscle tone and
coat quality secondary to poor nutrient intake. Both eyes are producing yellow/green discharge secondary to irritation from bilateral entropion.
Plan - Erythromycin ophthalmic ointment, continue to monitor. Does not appear
