Attempted heartworm test with other tech. Leash muzzled dog due to whale eyes and flinchy to movements and sounds.
When attempted to draw blood, dog began to thrash and roll around. Unable to do test.
🚑𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
Unable to do heartworm test due to behavior. Put dewormer in food.
Dog was in the line in a kennel with no shade. He was in direct sun and panting
heavily. He is very red on his under belly, paw pads, and the back of paws most
likely from being burned by a hot surface. He has possible lick granulomas on
dorsal front paws. Came in waggy, but began to thrash with muzzle. Unable to
fully work up due to behavior. Possibly neutered but unable to verify. Did not give
dewormer in food due to how hot he is. I do not think he will eat it at this time.
