About maylea: 🆘On the euthanasia list Tuesday 6/10 🆘 💖🐶MayLea - #A2015830 5/28 Stray | Staffie Mix | Male | 2Y | 58lbs | HW+ 💜 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 We weren't able to meet Maylea. If you can help us meet the animals at BARC let us know. 📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 5/31 cowaring in kennel, as i placed leash but did not walk oiut. I lifted her out of kennel and as i placed her on floor dog started pulling leash back into kennel gripping onto my legs . I carried her again into hallway were she started walking on leash but trying to hide under desk and behind doors 6/2 Approaching kennel dog was sitting down in the corner of kennel with low head and neutral face. I opened the door and baby talked him to come forward. He quickly came towards me with a wagging tail and allowed me to leash him. He was hesitant to walk out but i continued to baby talk and he followed right behind me. He walked well and loosely with a wagging tail. While outside, he remained closed to my legs and then jumped on me, wrapping his paws around me, he continued to look at me with soft eyes and allowed me to pet him while he stood on his back legs. While outside he also just sat by my legs with a wagging tail, he was calm and relaxed so i was able to retake his picture. 6/8 dog was laying down when i leashed him and once i opened the kennel door he quickly stood up and got out pulling on leash and once outsdie walked semi tight then began to jump on me ignored treats i was only able to walk him by shorting the leash. as i walked away an ACT noticed dog opened the run door and as she placed dog back in and closed door again dog did it again and got out the run intil another ACT leashed him and i took him back inside dog will have to be leashed walked due to knowing how to open run door.
