Hanging out with Tinker is like being in a Three Stooges romantic comedy mashup...the whole experience is goofy, funny, ridiculous and really adorable. This former momma has a chunky face, giant paws, and ears that are simultaneously floppy and perky (you have to see them to believe them). She is currently a little underweight but she eats like a champ and will probably end up being 60 to 65 pounds. She has short brown and white hair, light brown eyes and a pink and brown nose. Tinker is a medium energy dog who enjoys long walks...and short walks...any old walk will do for this carefree pup. She LOVES to play with toys and needs a family who will provide plenty of toys to chew and shred and toss around. She will do best in a house without cats, but she loves other dogs and would enjoy living with another pup who will play with her and keep her company while her humans are out (she currently lives happily in foster care with two other dogs). Tinker could be a great apartment dog but really, really enjoys playing/rolling in the grass so a house with a yard or an apartment near a park would be a dream come true. Likes: Kids, people, dogs, snuggles and belly rubs, giving kisses, naps, bully sticks, dry food, wet food, cat food (whoops), drinking out of the toilet (whoops, again), squeaky toys, stuffed toys, Kongs without food in them, Kongs with food in them, walks, hikes, overseeing the preparation of dinner in anticipation of crumbs making it to the floor, soft places to sleep, my 1950's vintage orange velvet sofa (double whoops), sneaking onto the foot of the bed while I am sleeping, rolling in the grass, rolling in the mud, rolling in strange, smelly substances, rolling on the carpet (usually in this order), sitting in the sunshine, hot dogs (how she got to them, no one knows), the beach, following me around while I'm doing chores, having her teeth brushed provided that the "toothpaste" is liver flavored, snoring while she sleeps. Dislikes: Carrots, plain blueberries, plastic squeaky balls with unusual textures, woodpeckers, the sound of the swiffer wet jet as it dispenses floor cleaner, sticking her head out the window in the car, nail trims and ear cleaning. Skills: Knows basic commands, including: Sit, Paw, Down, Come. Working on: Stay, Touch, Roll Over, Speak, Quiet, Leave It. Highly trainable. Working on crate training! Knows which items are appropriate for chewing (does not chew shoes or other "human" toys). She is house broken and hilarious.
