#1 I was working on a different dog I trapped when a friend sent me a photo of this girl looking sad sitting by a McDonalds dumpster off 290. Another trapper went and grabbed her for me. She was sitting calmly in her kennel and gave me some kisses through the bars, she was easy to leash and walked outside calmly but kept looking up at me because I think she could smell the hotdogs! She mostly ignored the dog we met outside and sat nicely for treats. She might have even have picked up on her name already! She is very treat motivated and takes them gently too! She's a beautiful smiley girl and enjoyed my pets and attention. She's super calm and just all around a great dog! She walked back to her kennel easy.
#2 Lorena is the most gentle and calm dog I met today! She walked in a perfect heel on a loose leash out to the run. She was curious about her doggy neighbored and lovedddd to get pets. She's so good natured she would be the perfect companion for cuddles and walks around the block!

4/2/24 Move Adopt : Placed in Dog Adoption runs this morning. Run door open as radio pages were coming in for a loose dog. Lorena was caught by staff and walked back to a kennel in Dog Adoptions.
Leash walk only please, based on previous notes and incident this morning.
7/8/23 Approaching kennel, dog came to me with an open mouth and erect ears as I babytalked and offered treats which she took readily. Placing her on Adopt Eval due to her starting to jump up in runs and vocalize then escaping into the run walkway. I had to lure her with babytalk and then leash her to return her to her kennel. Covered kennel door an gave extra enrichment.
7/6 Approaching kennel, dog comes to me with a wagging tail and erect ears as I offer treats as well as babytalk to leash her. Lorena walks gently on a loose leash and takes treats readily from my hand. She greets me with an open mouth and swaying tail after going back for her and naps in her kennel the rest of the day.
