About duke: Meet Duke, a one-year-old, 60-pound bundle of love who finds himself sadly surrendered to the shelter, leaving him feeling scared and confused. Despite his current surroundings, Duke's gentle and loving nature shines through. He is a favorite among the shelter staff, not only for his friendly demeanor towards other dogs but also for his eagerness to please and affectionate personality.
Duke loves to show off a bit too, sitting on command and even letting us dress him up with a bandanna, which he wears with pride. His desire to give love and be loved in return is evident in every interaction, making him a truly heartwarming companion.

This dog is located in Cartersville, GA. Rescue is handled by Etowah Valley Humane Society in partnership with the county intake facility. This dog is NOT housed at Etowah Valley Humane Society. Most, but not all, are available to rescue groups only due to age, breed, health issues or simply due to not having space to bring them to EVHS for adoption.
