Bear and his brother were not euthanized, however they did die. The Warden suspects they were poisoned, as we have had bad instances of dog poisonings this year I was told.
Hi there, I'm Bear. When I went for a ride this morning, I didn't know I would be left behind. You see, my owner just dumped me at the dog pound wth my brother. We played in some pipes for awhile, then the nice Warden arrived and gave me a treat. I liked him allot and came right up to him. I'm not a scared-d-cat like my little brother Roscoe was. The Warden fed us and gave us water and now even Roscoe isn't afraid. We would like to live here forever, but the Warden said we need a home of our own. I'm probably a black lab mixed with blue healer. Look at my pretty speckled boots! I have a little white spot on me, I'm much larger than my brother is. Woof!
