Roscoe and his brother were not euthanized, however they did die. The Warden suspects they were poisoned, as we have had bad instances of dog poisonings this year I was told.
Hi there, I'm Roscoe. When I went for a ride this morning, I didn't know I would be left behind. You see, my owner just dumped me at the dog pound wth my brother. We played in some pipes for awhile, then the nice Warden arrived and gave Roscoe a treat, and Roscoe fell for it. Not me, I'm smarter than that. It took Robin an hour to catch me, lol. I was playing a game with her and I will admit I was a scared-d-cat. Finally, I missed my brother, and like the treats and Robin, so I came out and surrendered. The Warden fed us and gave us water and now I am not afraid anymore. We would like to live here forever, but the Warden said we need a home of our own. I'm probably a black lab mixed with blue healer. Look at my pretty speckled boots in front. I have a little speckled on my back ones, but my brother is more speckled. I'm little, probably the runt. Woof!
