Charlie was brought to us by the police after he broke his chain, and when his owner was contacted he said he no longer needed the dog to guard his business, so he didn't want him back...and that is all we really know about this handsome boy. He is about 1 year old, a Pit Bull/Black Lab mix, has been living as a guard dog, on a chain all his life and he doesn't have much time at our shelter as we are over run each and every day with strays and drop offs. If this boy could only have a chance at a real dog's life, we know that he could become someone's very best friend and give that unconditional love that only God's creatures seem to have.
