Hi there. My name is Tippy. I am a 2 year old Basset Hound/Beagle (otherwise known as a Bagel) who needs a new forever family. My former owner passed away and there was no one to care for me, so here I am. It's kind of depressing to lose a family, but I am not letting that get me down. I am trying to have some fun here so my tail wags a lot while I play with all my new friends. If you want someone to keep you company and to play with you, come see me or contact the shelter about me. The shelter is open 7 days a week. Daily hours are 10-3, M/W hours are 10-6. Dogs at Belmont County Animal Shelter are PTS due to behavioral issues and illness (and would not be posted here), in addition to lack of space. In many cases, this permits us to extend the euth date of the dogs listed on this site. Even with extensions, there are no guarantees and these dogs are still very much in danger.
