About scooter: Scooter is a friendly, affectionate and active young girl. She enjoys dog biscuits and going for walks. She sits on command. She is sweet and likes to be petted. She'd love to sit in your lap if she would fit. She can walk on a leash, but tends to pull. This is something correctable with training. Scooter is already spayed, so she is set to move into her new home. She has been at the shelter since Nov. 14. The shelter is full, and Scooter's time will be up soon.
Dogs and puppies are given at least one set of vaccinations, spayed or neutered, and microchipped before going to their new homes.
Call the East Bank Animal Shelter at (504)736-6111and ask for Darrel if you want to adopt Scooter. Yard inspection, two personal references and a vet reference are required to adopt Scooter. Remember to give the animal's ID number. The Eastbank Shelter is located on the Earhart Expressway Service Road at S. Clearview in Harahan, LA, a suburb just west of New Orleans.
