The adoption fee is $10.00 plus a $40.00 spay/neuter deposit if the dog is not already spayed/neutered. If not spayed/neutered, adopter must sign a contract to have the dog spayed/neutered by a certain date. Adopter is responsible for all veterinarian bills. Upon bringing receipt for spay/neuter from a licensed veterinarian, a check for the $40.00 deposit will be issued by the county treasurer.
