About dot: Information we have received about this dog: She came from Ohio as a puppy and her name is Dot. She is just over a Year Old. She had been living in Stafford Springs, CT. with her owner until she attacked the family's Bassett Hound for the second time and they claim that they tried to find a Rescue or Humane Society to take her. They came to a dead end and she was brought to the Ellington Dog Pound and we were told she was a stray dog found in Ellington. She has no shot history and has not been spayed. We currently have her under Quarantine until July 15th due to the bite to the other dog. She will only be adopted out to a Rescue since she needs behavioral training and socialization. She is aggressive with other dogs and very protective of her toys and food. Unfortunately, we have trouble finding good homes for nice Pit Bulls and it will be very difficult to place her because of her issues Ellington Animal Control - 860-870-3155
