07/16/16 08:44 am Easy in easy out of the crate the officers had him in as well as our kennels we have at our shelter , didnt allow us to pet him at all or touch him when he first came in but a few mins later he warm up and was allow us to take hes less off of him and pet him , didnt give medical no problems doing a dog exam or vax shots

A volunteer writes: Helloooo Papa! This happy chappie is soft and sweet as a marshmallow and I?ve simply never met a dog with a lighter touch! He dashes after a toy just as eagerly as any puppy but then pauses, slowly reaches down and ever-so deftly picks the ball up in his mouth before trotting back to my side and letting me slip it away from him with ease (and lots of praise, of course!) and when I offer reward treats they?re practically licked from my hand. Though he can be a little shy at first, Papa enjoys behind the ear scratches and adores butt rubs and he?ll back his tush into my legs to show appreciation while making puppy eyes over his shoulder to beg for more. He?s a nice leash walker and seemingly house trained, greeting passing dogs of all shapes and sizes with calm, happy manners (even when he?s met with snarling in return) and is friendly in playgroup too, though he has a bit of an eye for the ladies! A good boy with a heart even softer than his smushy face, Papa is single pawedly putting the gentle back in gentleman and he?d make a wonderful addition to any experienced home where patience and love are in plentiful supply.
