A volunteer writes (as told by Styx): Hi everyone I am back. I was so happy for my daddy because he has a new girlfriend, but the girlfriends dog does not like me so here I am again. This can be a scary place and it takes me a little while to get comfortable with a new person. But really not that long if you go slow with me, let me come to you when I am ready. I love to cuddle and I am so happy to put my head on your lap to be pet, and then I will bow to you to invite you to play with me. I will also give you kisses, but I just need to be
ready to do that all on my own. I can be goofy and silly, and serious and loving just like people I guess. My new friend took me into the office yesterday and I was happy to explore, make another new friend, and check my email. Yes, I get mail! I am petite, slender and have great ears even if I do say so myself. I love to play with toys and can amuse myself by tossing it around.
