Peggy needs a prayer! With the shelter being so so full the scared dogs go on the urgent list first to give the friendly well adjusted dogs more time. We understand, but we HATE it.....
This is Peggy. She is really not sure about the shelter, but she decided she would come visit out of her kennel today. This little girl has obviously had a hard life. Her skin is a bit of a mess from lack of care, and she is a tad thin. Peggy was sweet but totally bewildered. She takes treats sweetly. She does love a treat. Peggy walks pretty well on a leash stopping when she gets really scared of the barking dogs, but she easily gets going again. Peggy is about a year old, and her id number is #A317877. Miss Peggy weighs about forty pounds, and she of course is heartworm positive. BUT her treatment is included in her adoption fee. We pray someone will see her potential and give her a home. She needs lots of love and a dog healthy diet. Peggy is waiting at Memphis Animal Services for her angel to come forward. Could that be you?
