About nicole: NICOLE ACCT-A-120251 is currently considered urgent and at risk of euthanasia due to length of stay of approximately 4 weeks. Nicole must have confirmed placement with a RESCUE PARTNER OR ADOPTER by Wednesday, September 14, 2022 10:00 a.m. Should Nicole's status change, her urgency and timeline for placement may also change. Nicole is an adult female mixed breed dog approximately 7 years old who was found as a stray in FDR Park a month ago. According to the finder she was walking her dog when Nicole happened upon her and her dog with no human with her. In a small panic the finder picked up her dog. This excited Nicole somewhat which caused her to jump on the finder and nip her arm in excitement. Local PPD were in the area and helped out. Due to the small bite she is not available for foster placement at this time. Nicole is a laid back lady in the kennel just snoozing away as the world walks by and doesn't notice her. Friends of Nicole's state she takes treats very gently, and is super sweet. She solicits attention from her handlers with a wagging tail and gentle eyes, she also appears to know sit. On her recent outing for a break outside she hopped right in the pool to cool off for a bit. While walking past other dogs in kennel she greeted them and kept it moving.
