S/O:
- generalized itchy and scratches belly frequently. adult fleas observed. noted to
be scooting but anal glands are small and unremarkable.
- firm swelling of medial right hock with scaring. Placed full weight on the limb but
mild abnormal gait.
A:
- fleas
- suspect previous injury

- radiographs scheduled tomorrow 7/23/25

- boney mineralization around the right hock

- suspect myositis ossificans, where boney tissue develops within muscles or connective tissues, most likely due to previous trauma. Can cause some pain and or lameness

- typically requires rest and limiting activity. If severe causing significant discomfort or severe mobility issues then consider surgery
