Evaluation Notes:
1 of 2 in kennel
Dog displays sociability by coming over with kennel mate for treats and affection with a tense body and a low tail. Separated
from kennel mate, she is nervous by retreating into corner with a tense body, squinted eyes and a tucked tail while lip licking.
She is interested in treats offered to her on ground with same body language. As I offer my hands she avoids contact by avoiding
eye contact and turning head away with a tense body, squinted eyes and a tucked tail. As I sit in kennel, she comes over to sniff
my shoes before returning to sit in corner facing away from me. She flinches as I pet her and whips head around to watch
movements with a tense body, squinted eyes, tense mouth and a tucked tail. As I offered my open hand to her she puckers her
mouth while watching my hands with a tense body, squinted eyes and a tucked tail. She is easy to leash and walk outside where
she walks well on leash and is easy to lure back to kennel.
Behavior due to under-socialization.
