I met this sweetheart after he had been back in medical. He takes treats so gently and has the most soulful eyes. He licked my fingers and wanted pets. Poor guy needs some tlc💙

08/02/25 15:19 sedated for radiographs V/D and lateral pelvis/knees. medial left thigh and inguinal area. has open wound that's scaring down and restricting leg movement. dorsal tail has wound/open - deep enough to expose ligaments and nerve tissue.

08/02/25 15:19 sedated for radiographs V/D and lateral pelvis/knees. RADs of the Hips appear to be WNL. No fx of the long bones or joints. S/O: Medial left thigh and inguinal area. has open wound that's scaring down and restricting leg movement. dorsal tail has 8 inch open wound - deep enough to expose ligaments and nerve tissue. A: open wounds healing P: Pt. tail was clipped and cleaned with chlorohex scrub then rinsed with saline sol'n. Silver sulfadine ointment applied to the entire wound and an E-Collar was placed. Pt can move the tail post sedation by did not lift it up. Monitor to see if with time and meds pt able to lift tail or wag it.

7/30/25: S/O: RR paretic/ataxic, rear end narrow base stance, tail flaccid with deep abrasion, healing wound left inguinal area, high HW+
A: ddx RR femoral neck & head fx/pelvic fxs/tail fx, healing wound, high HW+
P: rx clavamox 375mg bid x 14, rx rimidyl 75mg sid x 14, rx gabapentin 100mg 2 bid x 14, needs rads V/D and lateral pelvis/knees
