💜 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
Monze was quiet in her kennel, curled up on her cot when I walked by. She was very chill in the play runs, definitely a low energy pup. She was also in heat when I met her so she may not have been feeling herself. Her notes are not great, but she met two female dogs while I was with her, and did well! She was a little stiff but went nose to nose with them and gave us some tail wags. She gave me some sweet kisses while I was giving her some bootie scratches. If you?re looking for a low energy, sweet pocket pittie, Monze is your girl! I loved squishing her 🥰

📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
8/2/25:
Placing dog on Adopt eval after witnessing a volunteer take her out of her kennel and her starts to lunge and fixate on the neighboring dog that was snarling at her. Even after the volunteer managed to move her away from the other dog's kennel, Monze still kept pulling heavily towards that other kennel with raised hackles and growls. Treats were tossed to redirect as well as a laundry basket was used to come between them but she still kept going

Greeted at the front of the kennel with a tense body. Walked on a loose leash with a tense body and tucked tail. Once outside her body relaxed and would occasionally had a low and slow wagging tail. I got on her level and she came up to me , rubbing her side against me. I asked a tech to attempt to get a heartworm test and a2025568 sat down while muzzled and let the tech drawl blood. She walked on a loose leash back to kennel and walked straight into the kennel
