💔Heartbreaking, this poor guy had surgery (expensive) at some point and was found as a stray in horrible condition. He is so skinny, he needs easily 15 pounds on him. His surgical repair either didn?t hold or he didn?t heal properly💔
Despite all of that, he seemed eager to go outside. He met a young eager puppy through his door and was very friendly. He was a perfect gentleman outside. He even ran with his new puppy friend, 3 legs weren?t stopping him! He has a gentle soul, you can see it in his eyes how much he wants a safe place to heal up and be the best family member.

A handsome, one-year-old tan German Shepherd mix arrived at our shelter as a stray. He came in with an injury; he is non-weight bearing his left rear leg. While he can be shy and reserved, he does warm up and becomes receptive to pets. We are hoping he gets a chance to heal and become a loving and loyal companion. Below are his medical notes and attached are his x-rays with a short video.

Recommend radiologist review
Recommend ortho consultation regarding the plate and surgical repair vs. amputation.
