Staff asked us to take out this husky boy. He is very friendly, polite, easy to leash and has perfect leash manners. He isn?t typical hyper husky, chill guy but definitely doesn?t stand still for pictures 😀. He was wearing a collar that My Mama says I?m Special? we wanted to vomit.
He has very interesting behavior with other dogs. He gets growly aggressive but then backs off and is chill. He did ok walking side by side with another male but face to face was a non starter. Even during his temp test intro he plopped down very calm and stable as long as we kept a few feet distance between the 2 dogs.
A breed experienced foster would help this sweet guy tremendously!

Meet Glacier, an affectionate 3-year-old Alaskan Husky mix who came to us as a stray. He's a gentle soul who loves to be petted and would make a wonderful companion. While Glacier is heartworm positive, his condition is treatable, and he's ready to find a loving home to start his recovery.

Had dog outside for AM walk. Dog was relaxed until another dog passed by. Dog began snarling and lunging at other dog, had to redirect him. Once redirected, dog continued to growl at other dogs passing by.
