I saw this girl when another volunteer had her out and I just knew I HAD to meet her. She's definitely a Mama and has a super friendly, calm, mature attitude about her. She was sitting calmly at the front of her cage and then I approached she started to get more and more wiggly when she realized I was there for her! She walks great on a leash and did so well on her temp test with a younger female, who was walking right next to her and excitedly bumping into her. Mamas just tolerated her puppy energy by being cool, calm, and collected! Also have we talked about her party ear?? That thing just shoots straight up while the other ear droops down and it's the cutest thing ever! We loved Mamas so much and it breaks our heart that she is HW+ and has probably lived a pretty rough life so far 😭 We are hoping someone takes a chance on this sweet Mama bear!

8/19 Mamas is lunging at the kennel door when dogs are passing by her kennel, also jumping on the kennel door and forward barking. Walking Mamas on the leash, she is semi-pulling on the leash, will take treats mix with chicken when trying to redirect her.
8/17 During the AM cleaning, as I was walking pass Mamas kennel with a dog and she started to run up to the kennel door and started to forward bark. Mamas presented a tense body, wrinkle forehead and high stiff wagging tail.
