8/7/25 ? 1 VICIOUS PITBULL NEEDS TO BE COLLECTED

📝 Shelter Notes:

8/13/25 ? Approaching run, Iris is jumping up on gate with dilated pupils

8/14/25 ? Move adopt this morning, jumping up onto run door, used treats to lure him down on all fours. Once I leashed he began to jump up and spin on leash.

8/15/25 ? Approaching kennel, Iris presented a wiggly excited body. When leashing from an outside run, she became very excited and jumpy only dipping when guided by treats. She became vocal as customers entered the row then quieted when redirected with treats or given attention. Passing kennel, she was resting outside. She was very friendly and playful.

8/16/25 ? Iris Greeted me at the kennel door with a fast wagging tail and wiggly body. She let me leash her and walked in zig zags under me almost making me fall. Inside her kennel she can be seen wiggling by the kennel door for interaction.

8/17/25 ? When customers were walking through, when opened for adoptions I noticed that she was at the front of her kennel forward barking at customers.

8/19/25 ? Approaching kennel, Iris comes to me jumping on the kennel door with an open mouth pant, dilated pupils, and wiggly body as I baby talked to her. She took treats readily and with a hard mouth on the way out but began to pull and forward bark at other dogs while passing by their kennels. Once outside, dog held a looser leash as she would focus on treats more. Throughout the day, dog forward barks at customers that look at her over her cover and also gets provided with more durable enrichment.

🚑 Medical Notes:

8/7/25 ? normal condition.

8/8/25 ? Open skin laceration noted on face and thorax; monitored for swelling, no lameness, swelling resolved.

8/19/25 ? Placed on tech evaluation for diarrhea; dog bright, alert, eating and drinking well, no stool seen in kennel that day.
