I came into the shelter as a stray on 4/9/2026.
Truffle Butter is at risk due to behavioral reasons. Truffle Butter has been observed to be highly fearful while in care. Noted to escalate to growling and retreating from the handler when they attempted to handle him. While on leash Truffle is observed to thrash and head whip. During intake he was also observed to thrash while on leash. In kennel Truffle is noted to be receptive to treats. Medically, Truffle is apparently healthy.
