💜 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 🔹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲: Stray ' Dogs allowed to run loose. Re-occurring issue.
📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 5/18/2026: Found lying in the back of her kennel, lip licking and fearful. Pinned herself into the back corner when approached. Allowed leashing and walked slowly. 5/19/2026: Lying in the back of the kennel with a semi-tense body and lip licking. Slowly rose and followed handlers with baby talk. Became hesitant outside and did not want to continue walking. 5/20/2026: Move Adopt candidate. Stayed in her bed, accepted treats gently, and was quiet in her kennel. 5/21/2026: Trembling while being leashed. Did not want to walk farther than her kennel area. A neighboring barking dog increased her fear, and she refused treats. Responded somewhat to baby talk. 5/22/2026: Hesitant to walk and froze frequently. Staff spent additional time encouraging her with baby talk and reassurance to go outside and use the restroom. 5/24/2026: Sitting in front of the kennel with her back turned and a crouched posture. Slowly approached her cot when staff entered. Walked out of the kennel slowly and then stopped, refusing to move further. Accepted treats but preferred sitting quietly against the wall. 5/25/2026: Pulled bedding into herself and ripped it. Displayed a crouched body and slight tremble. Allowed gentle head petting and walked out slowly before stopping and sitting near the wall. Accepted treats but remained fearful. 5/26/2026: Sitting at the kennel gate with a crouched body and slight tremble. Walked out of the kennel but stopped shortly after and sat by the wall with whale eyes and ears down. Remained quiet while kennel cleaning was completed. 5/27/2026: Lying on her bed with a crouched head and slight tremble. Walked out easily but stopped moving shortly afterward. Ignored offered treats and sat quietly against the wall with whale eyes and ears down. 5/28/2026: Greeted staff at the kennel door but showed whale eyes. Allowed leashing but refused to walk. Remained in the kennel watching staff with whale eyes and occasionally avoided eye contact. 5/29/2026: Came to the front of the kennel and walked out slowly but then crouched and stopped. Wagged her tail when spoken to but would not move forward. 5/30/2026: Pancaked in the back of her kennel. Required extensive baby talk and encouragement to walk down the hallway. Trembled throughout the interaction but once outside walked on a loose leash with a relaxed body and soft wagging tail. 6/1/2026: Lying sideways near the front of the kennel with a loose body, wagging tail, and worried eyes. Walked out but stopped and sat against the wall with a crouched body, whale eyes, and ears down. Quietly remained in place during kennel cleaning. 6/2/2026: Similar behavior to the previous day. Walked out of the kennel but stopped moving and quietly whined in the in-cap area before lying down.
🚑 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 5/17/2026: Weighed 50.4 lbs. Vaccinated with Rabies, DA2PP-V, and Bordetella. Dewormed and given Pyrantel and Advantage Multi. Heartworm test: Negative. Received TranQ2. 5/30/2026: Observed straining to urinate with blood and small clots present in urine. Referred for veterinary evaluation. 5/31/2026: Diagnosed with suspected urinary tract infection and/or bladder crystals/stones after episodes of straining and blood in urine. Prescribed Clavamox 375 mg twice daily for 14 days. Urinalysis recommended.
