Evaluation Notes: 1 of 2 in kennel: Dog is fearful upon first approach with wide eyes, a tense body, and tucked tail. She retreats as handler enters the kennel and as handler approaches closer, she snarls with a tucked tail and wide eyes. She is given space. Behavior possibly due to undersocialization and/or environment. 05/24/2026 Play Group - 1 of 2 in kennel: Dog is fearful upon first approach by barking with a tense body and wide eyes. As handler enters the kennel, she retreats with a tucked tail and is able to be leashed and slowly walked outside. She flinches at fast movements and loud noises. She slowly walked into the yard with a tense body and tucked tail and allowed other dogs to greet her. She was able to move spots around the yard and continued to lay down watching the other dogs. She communicates for space appropriately. Behavior possibly due to undersocialization. 05/31/2026

1 of 2 in kennel. Dog is barking and growling with a low tail, raised hackles, and lifted paw upon first approach. She rushes to the door with the same body language. She then sniffs my hand through the barrier with a slow wagging tail and tense body. She then begins barking and growling shortly after sniffing my hand. She has a tucked tail and wide eyes as I open the kennel and is easy to leash and slowly walk outside. She is seemingly potty trained by urinating and defecating in the grass. As I crouch down to offer affection, she is not interested in approaching me or interacting. She has a tucked tail and perked ears with wide eyes for the entirety of the interaction. As I stand next to her, she allows me to pet her head, behind her ears, and abover her shoulders. She flinches with a tucked tail as I attempt to pet the base of her back. She is easy to walk back into her kennel. As I reach to remove the leash, she is lip licking with a tense body, tucked tail, and wide eyes. She allows me to remove the leash and is not interested in consuming offered treats. Behavior due to environment and/or undersocialization. 06/10/2026

Play Group: 1 of 2 in kennel Dog is fearful upon approach and is slowly able to be leashed and walked outside with a tense body. She entered the yard with a tense body and tucked tail following a handler where she co-existed with male and female dogs. She was able to co-exist with lower energy dogs and greeted a low energy dog with a low wagging tail. She communicated for space by raising her upper lip to dogs that did not respect her space and walked away on her own. She was able to be walked back to kennel. 06/11/2026
