Bio
Meet Duke !
This sweet 9-year-old boy has been diagnosed with a cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) injury in his right rear leg. As many dog owners know, this type of injury is painful and makes it difficult for dogs to walk, run, and enjoy their daily activities. After evaluation by his veterinary team, surgery has been recommended to help Duke regain his mobility and live comfortably again.
Despite his injury, Duke remains the gentle, loving dog everyone adores. He greets people with a wagging tail, enjoys attention, and continues to show his sweet personality even while dealing with discomfort.
As a senior dog, Duke deserves the chance to enjoy his golden years without pain.
This animal is at risk for euthanasia. If you are interested in helping, please email dasadopt@dallas.gov with your contact information so we can call you back.
