About obi: On the euthanasia list Saturday, 6/20. There will be no extensions per BARC. 🆘 ⏰Obi must have a hold no 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟭𝗣𝗠 or he will lose his life. 💙🐶 OBI #A2080016 6/9/26 | STRAY | German Shepherd Mix | Neutered Male | 2Y | 55.4 lbs | HW NEG 💙 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: We were not able to meet Obi. 🔹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲: Stray found running loose with another dog. 📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 6/18: Very vocal in kennel, standing on hind legs. When kennel door is opened, attempts to exit. Very vocal outside run as well. 6/17: Walked on a loose leash. Noticed trying to engage with another dog through the kennel barrier, barking at the reflection of that dog. Initially timid and did not take treats, but after throwing treats he calmed down and accepted food. 6/16: Presented with a loose body, wagging tail, and soft close mouth when approached. Gentle on leash. 6/15: Low tail, erect ears, soft closed mouth. Gentle while walking and maintained the same body language. Kennel door remained covered. 6/14: Observed growling, lunging, and vocalizing toward another dog on the opposite side of the kennel area. Redirected attention when offered enrichment. 6/12: Followed handler outside on leash with a loose, wiggly body. 6/11: Greeted staff at the front of kennel with relaxed body, open mouth, soft wagging tail, and soft eyes. Easily leashed and walked with a loose leash. Returned to kennel easily. Occasionally stops in front of legs and almost trips handler. 🚑𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: Heartworm test negative. Vaccinated (DA2PPV, Bordetella), dewormed, and received flea/tick prevention. Intake exam notes indicate Obi thrashed around on leash when muzzled.
