🔹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲:
Stray dog found in a resident's front yard. The reporting party stated the dog did not belong to her. An AEO notice had been issued regarding the dog. Intake notes indicate the dog was involved in a bite incident (referenced as Act #A26-109268).
📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
6/18: Presented with a tense body, dilated pupils, and tucked tail. Staff were able to leash him, but he would not walk on leash and had to be muzzled and carried outside. Once placed down, his body became tense immediately, making him difficult to handle.
🚑𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
Condition noted as minor on intake.
Heartworm positive.
Vaccinated (Rabies, DA2PP-V, Bordetella), dewormed, and received flea/tick prevention.
