Bio Meet Bluey, a sweet adult girl who needs a second chance. Bluey is facing significant orthopedic challenges. She has been diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia and has a fractured left tibial tuberosity that will require surgical repair. While her injuries are serious, Bluey is deserving of the medical care and support needed to help her heal and regain comfort. Despite everything she's going through, Bluey continues to show a gentle spirit and resilience. Due to her medical needs , this pet is currently at risk for euthanasia. We are urgently seeking placement through adoption, foster, or approved rescue. Medical 06/12/26: Mammary development/lactating, enlarged/turgid vulva with blood-tinged vaginal discharge, ticks, evidence of chronic otitis, alopecia/erythema on dorsum/tail/muzzle/chin/hindlimbs. Decreased wt bearing of LH/healing wounds on medial tarsus. Sedated for rads and skin scrape. Gave carprofen and Bravecto. Rads- Will need to review with another vet. Start on clinda for probable secondary bacterial infection of the skin. 06/17/26: Rads- reviewed with Dr. Warren. Bilateral hip dysplasia and fractured L tibial tuberosity ( will require surgical repair ). Shelter Observations 06/13: Tail wags, eager to approach , allows pets. 06/18: very sweet girl, wags tail, allowed me to leash her and walk to the yard, roamed the yard freely, allowed pets
