6/29/26: When staff attempted to leash him, he thrashed briefly. Once leashed, he slowly walked out, but continued to thrash when staff attempted to walk him, so he was moved to a clean kennel.
6/28/26: He was lying down in his kennel and thrashed briefly when leashed. Staff baby-talked to him and he slowly walked out, but continued to thrash during the walk. He was tethered while his kennel was cleaned and then walked back quietly when spoken to gently.
6/27/26: He displayed a trembling body, tucked tail, whale eyes, and avoided eye contact. Once leashed, he pulled back, thrashed, and alligator rolled. Staff were able to remove him from the kennel and tether him while cleaning. Afterward, he calmed and remained sitting quietly. He returned to his kennel without issue.

' Received sedation medication for handling due to fear and stress
💙 Staff notes indicate that Brandon responds well to gentle handling and calming voices. He urgently needs a patient foster, adopter, or rescue partner who can provide a quiet environment where he can decompress and feel safe.
