🔹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲:
6/27/2026: Two large stray dogs were reported roaming the area.

📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
7/2/2026: When entering his kennel, Toby greeted the handler with a soft wagging tail but was reluctant to walk, pulling backward on the leash. He became more confident once outside but continued moving slowly. After being placed in the run, he loudly growled and snarled at another dog, repeatedly pulling toward the dog. He paced continuously and even pottied while growling the entire time.
7/1/2026: During a move adoption, Toby had to be muzzled and carried because he would not fully walk. He followed the handler when encouraged with baby talk, accepted petting once inside the kennel, wagged his tail with a soft facial expression, and even relaxed by lying on his side against the handler.
6/30/2026: Toby was hesitant to leave his kennel but eventually followed with gentle encouragement. While returning inside, he became distressed near another dog, screaming and pulling on the leash. He ultimately had to be carried into his new kennel.

🚑 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
6/27/2026: Weighed 48.8 lbs. Intake condition normal. HW Negative. Vaccinated (DA2PP-V, Bordetella, Rabies), dewormed, and given flea prevention. Exam revealed a left cherry eye with green ocular discharge and conjunctivitis. Started on erythromycin ophthalmic ointment twice daily for 7 days.
