07/07/26 11:51 This dog is experiencing significant stress and anxiety in the shelter, particularly while kenneled, and has begun engaging in self-injurious behavior. These behaviors can develop when a dog becomes overwhelmed by constant stimulation and a lack of control over their surroundings. Although this dog continues to show appropriate behavior outside of the kennel with positive interactions with staff and volunteers,without intervention, both emotional and physical well-being may continue to decline. Immediate placement is needed with an experienced adopter or New Hope Partner who can provide a calm, supportive home and time for decompression. Placement needed by close of business 7/12/26. May be at risk of euthanasia 7/13/26 or sooner if warranted.
