Tango is just a 1-year-old baby and already running out of time. He has 5 days to secure rescue placement before his outcome is determined. 💔
Tango is a young dog struggling badly in the shelter environment. Shelter staff describe him as suffering from severe overstimulation and repetitive stress behaviors, so much so that he's currently on behavior support medication to help manage his anxiety and excitement.
Because of his inability to regulate himself in such a high-stress environment, Tango has bitten when overwhelmed.
⚠️ It's important to understand: this appears rooted in overstimulation and lack of impulse control, not cruelty or hopelessness. He is still very young and needs guidance.
At only one year old, Tango has so much potential ' but he needs a patient, experienced rescue or adopter willing to put in the training, structure, and consistency he's never had.
Shelter life is making everything worse. Being confined in a kennel most of the day is amplifying his stress, and he urgently needs out before it breaks him completely.
Young dogs like Tango can turn around with the right help.
