Stray found on 7/10 at BOURQUIN ST, DALLAS TX 75210

Randy is a laid-back guy who seems to prefer a calmer approach to life! From our volunteer observations, he appears tolerant of other dogs and accepts greetings while generally keeping to himself. This gentle boy may be a great match for someone looking for a more relaxed companion.

Randy is dealing with Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease (CIRD) that has not responded to treatment; his condition is unfortunately declining, and he is losing weight as he refuses to eat. Compounding his medical needs, Randy can be difficult to handle, making it exceptionally challenging to provide the hands-on care and medical treatments he desperately needs in a busy shelter setting. He would benefit immensely from an experienced foster, rescue, or adopter with a quiet, low-stress environment who is equipped to navigate complex medical care he requires right now.

This pet is at risk for euthanasia due to the level of medical care required, which exceeds what we can provide in the shelter. If you are interested in helping, please email dasadopt@dallas.gov with your contact information so we can call you back.
