Canyon is heartworm negative. He is currently being treated for an upper respiratory infection (CIRD) after developing yellow nasal discharge and sneezing, and is receiving Doxycycline for 10 days. He is otherwise in good condition.

🐾Behavior Notes:
Canyon is a sensitive boy who has become more comfortable with consistent, gentle handling. While he was initially hesitant and would sometimes freeze when being leashed, he now greets familiar people with a fast wagging tail and wiggly body, walks well on leash, and enjoys getting outside to sniff and potty. Shelter stress causes him to bark and react to nearby dogs in the kennel, but once away from the noise he is calm, walks politely, and relaxes quietly on his bed.
