April is currently in normal medical condition. She is heartworm negative, vaccinated, dewormed, and received Advantage Multi at intake. As a puppy, April was treated successfully for demodectic mange (Demodex) with Bravecto after skin scrapings tested positive. She was later spayed, and her previous skin condition was addressed with treatment and preventive recommendations.

April is a happy, energetic girl who greets people with a wiggly body, wagging tail, and lots of enthusiasm. She is easy to leash and generally walks on a loose leash, though she can zig-zag, pull, and occasionally jump up when excited, but a he can usually be redirected with treats. In the kennel, April seeks attention by barking and bouncing at the door'she simply wants someone to notice her.
