Bio
Cosmos is a sweet, people oriented pup who enjoys getting out for walks and soaking up attention from his favorite humans. He has medium energy, good manners, and walks well on leash. Cosmos loves to sniff, run, and solicit pets from his people. He is also affectionate and potties promptly when he gets outside. Cosmos can be reactive around other dogs and is currently looking for a little extra space from canine companions while he continues to build confidence. With his affectionate nature and love of human attention, Cosmos has plenty of wonderful qualities to share with his next family
Due to capacity at the shelter, this pet is currently at risk for euthanasia. We are urgently seeking placement through adoption, foster, or approved rescue.

Why are you surrendering your animal? surrendering due to dog being very reactive towards their kid at home when they have food, and dog for no reason.

Describe your animal's personality. very calm likes to cuddle, and loves toy
What are the best things about your animal? very friendly towards adults and cats
Who lives in the home with your animal? sister, family member, and kid
Do you have any behavior concerns about your animal? does get reactive suddenly, family member yelled at cosmos for peeing on the floor, that is when cosmo lunged, after dog lunged family member yelled kennel and that is when cosmo went to kennel but growled in kennel. Cosmo growls at home owner kid for having food.
Has your animal ever bitten someone or another animal? yes,
If yes, when and what were the circumstances? over 2 years ago dog got into altercation with another dog, owner for dog that was being attacked got bit in the process of breaking fight up.

What kind of home would you recommend for your animal? A home with a yard, no kids or older kids. does get anxious when kids are loud, someone who has more experience with handling animals.
