08/22/2026 1 of 2 in kennel Dog is fearful upon approach with a tense body, wide eyes, pinned ears and a tucked tail. He retreats away from me as I interact with kennel mate with same body language. He is interested in treats offered to him on ground and through barrier which he takes with same body language. He communicates for space as I attempt to leash him by growling with bared teeth. He is given space. Upon re-approach, he displays sociability with me by coming over for continued treats offered through barrier with a tense body, wide eyes and a tucked tail, He is leashed and walked slowly outside where he pulls on leash. He displays sociability with all handlers by allowing them to greet him with a tense body, wide eyes, pinned ears and a tucked tail where he is interested in sniffing and marking in grass. He is easy to return to kennel where he pulls on leash. Vet Exam Notes:

A POSITIVE CANINE RESPIRATORY PANEL PCR result indicates the detected
organism(s) is likely contributing to the clinical signs. Additional
causes should be assessed separately. Vaccination with a modified live
vaccine may result in positive results for up to a few weeks
post-vaccination.
A NEGATIVE CANINE RESPIRATORY PANEL PCR result indicates that the
organism was not detected in this sample and suggests the absence of
an infectious cause, by these organisms, for the clinical signs. PCR
may not detect 100% of the isolates or levels of the organisms may be
too low to be detected.
