08/22/2026 1 of 2 in kennel Dog is nervous in kennel upon approach with a tense and trembling body, pinned ears and a tucked tail. He displays sociability with me by coming over to greet with same body language and is easy to leash and walk through building where he walks slowly on leash. Once outside, he is able to adjust and walks well on leash. He displays sociability with all handlers by coming over for treats and affection with a loose body and a low wagging tail. He displays sociability with dogs at barrier by greeting appropriately with a loose body and a wagging tail. Returning to kennel, he walks well on leash back to building where pauses at threshold of door with a tense body, wide eyes, pinned ears and a tucked tail where he pulls back on leash and paws at his neck seemingly attempting to remove leash and is easy to redirect. He vocalizes and flinches away as I attempt to pick him up where he is given space. He is picked up using a modified handling technique and is carried back to kennel.
