Rockichan is at risk due to behavioral reasons. While in care, Rockichan has been observed to be highly fearful. Noted to jump away and flee when handlers attempt to handle him. During one instance while in the yard with a handler, Rockichan began jumping towards them and attempting to bite them on the thigh. Rockichan is recetive to treats and a slow approach. Medically, Rockichan has mild- moderate dental disease.
Rockichan arrived at MACC as an owner surrender. His previous owner describes him as active and playful. While in care, Rockichan has been observed to be highly fearful, noted to allow limited handling. During his assessment, when the handler approached Rockichan with a collar, he fled the interaction and retreated quickly. Due to the detailed behavior, we recommend an experienced adult only home.
