Upon approach, dog is laying in corner of kennel with a tense and trembling body, wide eyes avoiding eye
contact, pinned ears and a tucked tail. As I enter kennel, he retreats away from me pacing in kennel with same
body language where he is not interested in treats offered to him. He is easy to leash and is prompted out of
kennel where he is easy to pick up and carry outside. Outside he lays in grass and allows me to briefly handle
him to secure leash with a tense body, wide eyes avoiding eye contact, pinned ears and a tucked tail. He is
seemingly fearful of surroundings and/or other handlers and attempts to retreats away from me and/or other
handlers while pawing at neck seemingly in attempt to remove leash with same body language. Restraint is
secured and is he is carried back to building and returned to kennel utilizing defensive handling techniques.
Once back in kennel, he is given space.
