Ralph came into BARC with several other dogs after HPD completed a warrant. Records note 2 adult dogs and 2 puppies were found, along with 2 turtles. Neither ID #A2095580 nor ID #A2095583 are currently showing on 24Petconnect, so we do not know their status.

🩺 MEDICAL NOTES:
Ralph tested HIGH POSITIVE for heartworms.
He also has dermatitis with hair loss along his mid/lower back, tail and rear legs, as well as small bumps/growths on his lower back. The veterinarian noted possible flea allergy/atopy as the cause of his dermatitis.
He was treated with Advantage Multi at intake and also received Rabies, DA2PP-V, Bordetella, deworming and Pyrantel.
Ralph will need someone willing to help him through heartworm treatment and get his uncomfortable skin feeling better.

BEHAVIOR NOTES:
Despite everything Ralph has been through, his behavior notes are encouraging. He greeted staff at the front of his kennel with a neutral face and body and came out without difficulty.
On his walk, Ralph held a semi-loose/loose leash, walking ahead of his handler with a low tail and neutral body. Staff reported no issues taking him to the runs.
