Evaluation Notes: 09/06/2026 - 1 of 2 in kennel
Dog was nervous upon approach avoiding eye contact and retreating. As I entered the kennel, he was able to
be leashed and followed kennel mate. He was nervous pausing on leash, biting the leash, and attempting to
hide under kennel mate at times. He was able to adjust with verbal encouragement and walking next to kennel
mate.
Once outside, he adjusted coming over for affection with a wagging tail and loose body.
He greeted other dogs with a loose body and wagging tail and walked away on his own.
He repeated the same fearful behavior when walking back to kennel on leash.
Vet Exam Notes: 09/07/2026 - patient on vet exam list for nasal discharge, no overt nasal discharge noted at time of exam, has
kennel mate with nasal crusts, reported ticks, ticks along fur coat- requesting flea/tick tx, r/o development of
CIRD, kennel cough vs viral, tick-borne disease
begin tx for presumptive infectious tracheobronchitis
isolate and tx in place
requesting resp panel
if placement, no sx if becomes symptomatic and reschedule sterilization in 2-3 weeks
contact clinic if at risk of losing placement if sx needed
