🩺 MEDICAL NOTES:
Larissa is LOW HEARTWORM POSITIVE. Both front legs bow outward at the elbows, more noticeably on the right. Although there was initially concern about lameness, the veterinarian noted that she did not appear lame during the exam.
She also has moderate to severe gingival hyperplasia (overgrown gum tissue), along with scars and callouses on her legs. No treatment was recommended at this time.

🐾BEHAVIOR NOTES:
No detailed shelter behavior evaluation was included in Larissa's available notes.
What we do know is heartbreaking: after apparently being left behind at a stranger's property, Larissa was reportedly hiding underneath the home at night before being brought to BARC.
