Oakley Kazooie is at risk due to behavioral concerns. Oakley was surrendered due to reported behavioral concerns and a recent bite history with another dog. He was noted to react towards small and large dogs, cats and children. In the Care Centers, Oakley displayed fearful behavior during walks. At times, he refused to continue walking and engaged in balking and thrashing before escalating to biting and pulling on the leash. On at least one occasion, Oakley's behavior significantly interfered with his ability to be safely returned to his kennel, requiring staff to transport him back using a cart. Medically, Oakley Kazooie has a low grade heart murmur but is otherwise healthy.

Oakley arrived at MACC as a stray with a limited history. He was surrendered to the police due to reported aggressive behavior in his previous home. While in care, Oaley has been observed to be tense and stiff when handlers intact with him. Noted to hard stare at the handler when they presented a collar to him during the assessment. Due to the detailed behavior, we recommend an experienced adult only home.
